The little button on top that says "iPod/Aux" is actually a multi-function button. If you hold it for about 2 seconds it switches from the dock connector to the aux jack input on the back. I've used it many times, since we lost our remote shortly after buying the sound dock too.

supposed to work, but instead of being able to change my Full Name I get denied with the following message… ”You do not have enough clout to change your display name.”
Aside from the cuteness of the error message, I was a little confused.
Not one to give up, I searched and searched thru the settings trying to
figure out what was stopping me from changing it. I scoured the
forums, help, and even googled the issue. Nada. Nothing. I then had a
thought, what if I try changing to a different name than the one I
actually wanted to use.
So I tried TCG since its the name I write
under on my blog and low and behold it allowed me to change it. Ah-ha,
it seemed it didn’t like to have my username and display name the same.
Or so I thought. overall okay...........

Thank you for your help. This works with my samsung 6 series and mac book air. I do wish that Mac would get off their but and support it natively in OS or Samsung would write an app for this.

correct. the SAVE or the SAVE AS option both take you to the same place since QuickOffice can't access your SpiderOak account/folders to save it bak there.
AS for Dropbox costing more, i use the free version of both Dropbox and SpiderOak and have 3.5 gig and 3 gig respectively for each for storage, so cost has never been something i've looked into.

So just to clarify, if I were to just click "Save" (as opposed to "Save as"), does it still not save back to SpiderOak?

The issue with Dropbox, besides it being more expensive, is that for the Mac it doesn't allow you to choose which folders to sync - you need to use the dropbox folder, or create symlinks.

well, to be fair, i ended up going back to Dropbox because of its integration with Quickoffice Pro which is what i use frequently for editing viewing office files. Quickoffice doesn't give you the option to add a SpiderOak account. It does allow Google, Dropbox, Box, MobileMe, huddle, and SugarSync, but no Spideroak.
Thats not to say you can't open your files stored in SpiderOak in Quickoffice, that is built in to the SpiderOak app under "open in..." and then once the file is open as soon as you edit it and then go to exit out of it using the back tab in Quick office you are presented with the options to "don't save" or "save as" or "save". "Save as" presents you with your folders you have linked to your Quickoffice app, but not the option to save back to SpiderOak unfortunately. You can save them in the Quickoffice app on your iPhone or to one of the other accounts listed above. My 2 cents, use Dropbox. the integration is very good in the Quickoffice app as well as many others i use.

Hey,
I am interested in how you use SpiderOak with QuickOffice. I haven't purchased QuickOffice yet though. Now I can see how you would be able to open SpiderOak files in QuickOffice, but after you edit the files, does it save it back to SpiderOak, or are you pretty stuck there?
SpiderOak is great, but if I can't easily edit my documents on my iPad then it might be the one thing that makes me want to move to some other backup storage (although last time I checked SpiderOak suited my requirements better than anything else available).

Having the same damn problem with Tone Club, getting charged 8$ a month. And I don't use it. Can anyone tell me what to do with that. Bell said I am the one who subscribed it and I know I have not. Really frustrated to have companys screw us like that. Like we don't have enough to pay they have to add crap like that.

just an update on TvMobili on my Mac. Had issues with it after the latest MacBook Air firmware update. It would be seen on my TV but could not share any folders - the add button would not "stick" so to speak. Did a complete uninstall of the TvMobili program in the terminal and then reinstalled and it worked again. A minor glitch, but one to remember if you run into it.

It's crowd mentality, not Vancouver. In every crowd there is someone(s) waiting to erupt. The bigger the crowd, the bigger the odds. Even a a kid's soccer game there may be one in the crowd with eruption potential. One can be easily quelled. A crowd like last night one sparks many. As for looting? The original looter were likely long gone and opportunists took over. Ya' see a laptop in an already busted window and you have to make a fast choice. Some would chose wrong, but not necessarily have a criminal heart.
I do not condone what happened, but I do not blame Vancouver. Any crowd, anywhere in the world could erupt in violence. Sad, but true.

sorry to hear that. did you try the free version first? I always like to try the "lite" version when available before spending any money on the pro version, just in case its not what i'm looking for. Hope you get a reply from them and some satisfaction.

I just tried iRecovery after upgrading with a Pwnage tool modified IPSW 4.3.1. Did the Itunes upgrade to IPSW 4.3.2, then once stuck in recovery mode ran iRecovery, ran three commands: setenv auto-boot true, then saveenv then fsboot and then reboot.
